Frasers Commerical Trust & Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust

On 2nd of December, sold all my Frasers Commercial Trust at $1.72 per share.

The proposed merger between Frasers Logistics Trust & Frasers Commercial Trust had propelled its shares price to a 52 week high at $1.73.

The decision to sell was my holding is small & most probably the deal will go through next year.

As for Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust, Festival Mall retail section will reopen next year 1st quarter & it will greatly impact its income for the next coming quarters.

To mitigate this, the Manager will implement a top-up to the distributable income from 1 October 2019 till 30 June 2020 through external borrowings till insurance claims proceeds is distributed to MNACT and any balance of the insurance claims proceeds will also be distribute to unitholders which I find it very comforting as the Manager genuinely cares for its unitholders.

The proposed acquisition of 2 office properties in Japan will reduces MNACT income concentration of Festival Walk from 62% to 58%.Although the reduction is not significant but are moving in the right direction.

Currently, the situation in HongKong is tense & I am surprised the big win out by pro democracy party against pro Beijing party despite so many months of violent demonstrations & innocent civilians being hurt by rioters.

It is unfortune for HongKong to be embroiled in China - USA  ever straining ties as the former threatens USA world supremacy.
